"We needed to clear some room in the data center, fast. An old wall of aging legacy tower servers. We looked at a couple of products, it came down to PlateSpin's PowerConvert and Symantec's LiveState. In the end we chose PowerConvert, mostly because of a more flexible licensing program. We liked that we could buy the features we were actually going to use, rather than buy a whole suite of products just for one feature we really need. We were able to retire old equipment fast, onto better physical hardware or into a virtual machine, with very little downtime and effort. PowerConvert also converts NT4 to virtual machines, a feature I'm not sure that LiveState supports, a big bonus for us! The support and sales staff are class acts as well. I would buy it again! "
